Hunger Free America is a nonpartisan, national nonprofit group working to enact the policies and programs needed to end domestic hunger and ensure that all Americans have sufficient access to nutritious food.

Hunger Free America has created the most comprehensive and up-to-date source of information for hungry Americans to find out where they can access government food assistance programs, food pantries, soup kitchens, and farmers markets from coast-to-coast.

You can help us end hunger in America by dedicating your time and talents. Our Strategic Volunteerism team can connect you with a range of volunteer opportunities, from conducting data verification on the USDA Hunger Hotline information, to serving at a food bank, to helping nonprofit and charitable organizations with grant application reviews. If you are 55+ we have a dedicated senior volunteer program to help you find the right opportunity.
