Sponsored by the UCLA Emeriti Association and the UCLA Retirees Association.

Join us for a fascinating journey through a Paris landmark, Père-Lachaise Cemetery, described in full detail by best-selling author Carolyn Campbell.  This cemetery is the final resting place for notables such as Frederic Chopin, Gertrude Stein, Isadora Duncan, Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.  Ms. Campbell will take us on a both historical and artistic tour of this incredible site. She will be accompanied on this tour by Victoria Kirsch on piano

Ms. Campbell has researched this location for 3 decades and has lectured at  several venues since her book was released in October of 2019. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Maryland Institute of College Art and has worked at Corcoran Gallery of Art, the American Film Institute, and the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture, where she also served as editor of the UCLA Arts magazine for 14 years.
