Just returned from Greece via LAX. There were about 75 people going through customs. Luckily I have Global Entry - 8 scanners, no one in line. Took about a minute to let the scanner take my picture, then a customs official called my name and I was free to go. Global Entry cost me $100 for five years and includes domestic Pre Check.
